2025 Registrations are now open!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Players

We have been working hard behind the scenes to prepare for the 2025 season, and we are delighted to announce we are now seeking registration for the 2025 season for our community teams.

Registration:

The 2025 registration is a three-step process:

  1. Register on the website and come along to grading.

  2. Pay the Annual Club Fee (will open following conclusion of grading).

  3. Pay the Football Victoria/Football Australia Fees (not yet open).

Please head to our website to complete the registration form for your player. Please complete one form per player. i.e. if you have 2 players complete a separate form for each player.

This means U8s for those born in 2017, U9s for those born in 2016, U10s for those born in 2015, U11s for those born in 2014 and so on, all the way to U16s for those born 2009.

Grading Sessions:

Grading will take place on:

  • Girls U13 - U14: Tuesday 4th February, 6pm

  • Girls U7 - U12:      Wednesday 5th February, 5pm

  • Boys U11:              Wednesday 5th February, 6pm

  • Boys U12 & U13:   Wednesday 5th February, 7pm

  • Boys U7 & U8:       Wednesday 19th February, 5pm

  • Boys U9 & U10:     Wednesday 19th February, 6pm

  • Boys U14 - U16:    Wednesday 19th February, 7pm

Trials are not just for existing Elwood City players.  New children are welcome to register and come along to grading.

It is highly recommended that all children wanting to play for Elwood City in 2025 attend grading.  Grading allows the Elwood City Technical Director to assess and place children in the right team for their skill level. If a player chooses not to come to grading, the players team placement will be at the Clubs discretion.

If for any reason you cannot attend grading, please reach out to the Technical Director Ahmed Badawy – 0414 976 011 or elwoodsoccerskills@gmail.com .

Coaches

Coaches will be assigned to all Joeys and Wallabies teams by the Technical Director after the grading process is completed.

The Technical Director has brought together a highly talented group of coaches for 2025 whose experience will be invaluable across the club.

Annual Club Fees

For the Community Season 2025, the club registration fee is

  • $715 for Wallaby Players

  • $715 for Girls Teams

  • $560 for Joey Players

For many years we have tried to keep fees as low as possible.  However, the club has now grown to the point we are also paying GST so the Club registration fee now includes GST per player and increased club costs.

The Annual Club fee covers all coaching throughout the season (2 sessions per week for Wallabies, 2 sessions for Girls Development teams and 1 session per week for Joeys), pre-season matches, guidance and support from the club's Technical Director, participation in match days and payment of referees.  The Club registration fee also covers all equipment, pitch use and Club Presentation Day trophies.

What is not included?

The combined Football Victoria (FV) & Football Australia Administration fee –which is between $81-$129 (depending on the age of your player).  We will send you the link for this payment once Football Victoria opens for 2025 registrations in 2025.

We appreciate this is a second step of registration but as FV does not open registration for another month it would hamper our season planning and team formation to wait.

Playing Kit – most children will already have a kit from 2024, and our sponsors are the same in 2025 so there is no need to update your kit.  However, if you are a new player or do need any additional kit it is available directly from the Umbro website.

Once ordered your kit will be delivered directly to your home, avoiding the issues of past seasons with incorrect sizes and late receipt of Kit.

If you do not have a player number, please reach out to secretary@elwoodcitysc.org.au

Parents/Guardians are responsible for ordering and sizing of all kit.

Kit can be purchased at:

Passcode: Elwood#222

Next steps:

The 2025 registration is a three-step process:

  1. Register on the website and come along to grading

  2. Pay the Annual Club Fee (will open following conclusion of grading)

  3. Pay the Football Victoria/Football Australia Fees (not yet open)

When paying the Annual Club Fee, you must use the same email address as the one you will use to register with Football Victoria.

This will ensure your payment is linked to your player's details. It will also create an account on our website that allows you to check/update your details and review your payments.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact reach out via secretary@elwoodcitysc.org.au

Thank you, and we are all looking forward to a great season in 2025.

Thanks for your ongoing support of the Club.

Our Teams

Our teams are organised by age groups and then graded according to each player's ability. The grading process is designed to make sure each child at Elwood is playing at the right level for their skills and experience. This helps build their ability, confidence and enjoyment of the game.
